The Assets module is StreamHCM's answer to "who has the missing laptop", a complete company asset register organized by category, with every assignment, transfer, and return logged against both the employee and the asset itself.
Shared equipment can be reserved in advance, maintenance schedules are logged against each asset's history, and incident reporting captures damage, loss, or theft the moment it happens rather than getting discovered during an annual audit. When an asset finally reaches end-of-life, disposal is tracked too, giving finance and IT a complete, audit-ready trail from purchase to write-off.
