A MyHCM alternative: what to evaluate

MyHCM is a name that shows up when Pakistani teams search for cloud HR and payroll software. If you are comparing it with StreamHCM, run the same checks on both products. This page does not claim MyHCM is missing a feature we have not seen.

What is publicly true

MyHCM is marketed as HR and payroll software for companies in Pakistan. StreamHCM is marketed as cloud HR, attendance and payroll for the same market, with employee self-service and PKR pricing. A marketing page is not evidence of how a pay run behaves with your shifts, your biometric file, or a mid-year tax change. The useful comparison is a trial payslip from each system, using one of your employees.

Run the same four checks

Open the salary tax setting. You want slabs you can change after a Finance Act, and a payslip line that is income tax, not a blended deduction. The public method is on the salary tax calculator.
Open the EOBI setting. Employee 1% and employer 5% belong on a wage base. The figure this site uses for 2026-27 is Rs. 40,700, which you should still confirm with EOBI. Try the arithmetic in the EOBI calculator.
If the branch is in Punjab or Sindh, ask where PESSI or SESSI is configured. Those are employer social-security contributions, not a copy of EOBI. The written guides are PESSI and SESSI.
Post one attendance exception into payroll, then ask for a trial on your own branch. StreamHCM’s trial is 14 days, with no card, from the contact form. Ask MyHCM what their trial includes. Do not assume it matches.
