HR and payroll software for organisations in Peshawar

Peshawar is the commercial and administrative capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: wholesale and trading houses, hospitals and medical colleges, universities and schools, development organisations, pharmaceutical and food manufacturers in the Hayatabad industrial estate, and logistics businesses on the Afghan trade route. StreamHCM gives them one cloud system for HR and payroll.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa payroll rules

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has its own labour laws, minimum wage notifications and social security institution, so payroll in Peshawar should not copy Punjab or Sindh settings. The KP budget of June 2026 proposed raising the minimum wage to Rs 45,000 a month, but a budget proposal only becomes binding when the Labour Department notifies it, so check the latest notification before applying a new rate.

Provincial social security in KP is administered by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Employees' Social Security Institution. StreamHCM stores its rate and wage limits as settings for your KP branches. EOBI applies nationally: 5% employer and 1% employee of the notified minimum wage, Rs 2,035 and Rs 407 per insured person from July 2026 under EOBI's circular. FBR salary tax under Section 149 follows the Tax Year 2027 slabs.

Built for Peshawar's sectors

  • Hospitals and medical colleges: duty rosters, night shifts and on-call schedules.
  • NGOs and development projects: contract-based leave, project tagging and field check-in.
  • Manufacturers in Hayatabad: shift attendance, overtime and bulk payroll.
  • Traders and distributors: field salesmen on mobile check-in with a small office team.
  • Schools and universities: separate policies for faculty and admin staff.

Field and multi-district teams

Many Peshawar organisations run staff across the province, from Mardan and Nowshera to Swat and the merged districts. StreamHCM's mobile app lets field staff check in with location, request leave and see payslips, while managers approve from their phones. Branch devices sync punches to the cloud, and attendance devices keep punches locally when connectivity drops.

Head office sees attendance and payroll for every location in one dashboard, with reports by district, project and department.

Typical Peshawar HR scenarios

Peshawar's employers include traders and distributors, pharmaceutical and FMCG companies, construction firms, hospitals, universities and schools, and a large number of NGOs and development projects working across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. NGOs need salary costs allocated by project and donor, contracts tied to grant periods and field check-in in districts without an office. StreamHCM supports all three.

Construction and infrastructure contractors manage workers at multiple sites. Site-based GPS check-in or devices at site offices let HR record attendance by site and calculate site allowances and overtime.

For compliance, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa sets its own minimum wage. The June 2026 budget proposed Rs 45,000 a month; check for the official notification and its effective date before applying it. EOBI and FBR salary tax apply as elsewhere in Pakistan, and StreamHCM's payroll is updated when rates change, so a new notification can be applied with arrears.

  • NGO project and donor cost allocation.
  • Site-based attendance for construction and field teams.
  • Seasonal and fixed-term contracts with final settlement.
  • Payroll with FBR tax and EOBI built in.

Working across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Organisations based in Peshawar often operate in Mardan, Swat, Abbottabad, Kohat and the merged districts. With branches set up per location and mobile check-in for field staff, HR in Peshawar sees attendance and costs across the province without waiting for paper registers to arrive. Connectivity gaps are handled by devices that store punches and sync later.

When staff move between projects or locations, their history and leave balances move with them.
