One HRMS for plants in Lahore, Karachi and Faisalabad

Opening a second site does not create a second company. The CNIC is the same. The tax file is the same. The person who transfers from Gulberg to the Faisalabad floor is still one employee. A lot of HR software pretends otherwise: a new login, a new employee code, a new leave balance that starts at zero. That is not multi-branch. That is two databases and a monthly Excel merge.
If you are shortlisting the best HR software in Pakistan, ask this before you ask about AI: can one payroll run cover every device in every city?
One person, one file
Transfers, promotions and a temporary deputation to Karachi should move a location field, not clone the record. Leave already earned has to follow them. A loan already running has to follow them. If the vendor says “we create them again at the new branch,” you will spend December reconciling two codes for the same CNIC.
Devices stay local, rules can differ
A plant in Sundar and an office on MM Alam Road will not share a machine. Each branch needs its own biometric or GPS fence. Shift length can differ. Late grace can differ. What should not differ is the employee identity behind the punch. The sheet of punches from four ZKTeco devices has to land on one attendance calendar, tagged by site.
Factory floors have their own mess. Mass shift change, overtime after 9 hours, a contractor gate that is not your payroll. The factory attendance guide covers that. Multi-branch is the layer on top: the same rules engine, different clocks.

One payday, many sites
Finance wants one bank file. FBR withholding is on the company, not on the building. EOBI returns are easier when every covered employee sits in one contribution list. If each branch runs its own payroll user, you will get two interpretations of the same slab. That is how one company files two slightly different stories.
Starter plans that allow only one branch are fine for a single office. The moment you rent the second floor in another city, check the cap. StreamHCM's Growth plan lists up to three branches. Enterprise is unlimited. Read the live pricing page before you assume.
Who is allowed to see what
A Lahore HR officer should not edit Karachi basics unless you say so. A plant manager should approve leave on their floor and not open another site's salaries. Role-based access is not an enterprise luxury here. It is how you stop a local admin from becoming the whole company's admin because everyone shared one password.
What to watch in a demo
Ask them to create a company with two branches, punch a device on each, transfer one employee mid-month, and run payroll once. If the demo uses two sample companies instead of two branches, they are showing you a group structure, not a multi-site company. Groups are a different product. Some firms need both. Most growing manufacturers just need branches.
Then ask for last month's consolidated attendance report. If they export two CSVs and smile, you are back in Excel.
What StreamHCM is built to do
StreamHCM treats branches as locations on one company: policies, devices, and a single employee record. That is the multi-branch check from the shortlist page. It will not fix a company that is legally two NTNs and pretending to be one. It will stop a single NTN from living in three logins.
